My wireless network card Belkin F5D came alive and I was able to connect to the internet via my router. No Sees network initially, but does not connect.
Ubuntu seems to be recognizing a network card but identifies it as disabled. I've tried disabling the security but this didn't make a diference. I belkinn Rutilt and I supplied the latest Rutilt v0.
I'll try this now and report back Russ. Must install ndiswrapper-utils and your windows driver. I originally followed instructions from another poster which instructed me to copy the windows driver which in my case is bcmwl5. Results 1 to 9 of 9.

That has always been the problem with Linux. Has issues staying connected. Share your knowledge at the LQ Ubunut. Sees network initially, but does not connect. Because the b43fwcutter package has to fetch the firmware, this is why you need to be on-line, just installing bfwcutter won't cutter, it has to fetch the firmware as part of the installation process, and you'll have to answer a question which is why it's better to do it from command line.
