Regarding kg7a HSF's on the Voodoo 5: The KT7A is a really great board. If an ETA is available it will be displayed on hover. Realistically, manufacturers will also have to make sure that their board design can work at the increased FSB. I wouldn't trust them on anything more powerful.
The power connector is also very nicely placed ktt7a that power cables will not run over the CPU and memory. I imagine it must be terribly noisy with the two blowers.

Others have also had issues with that variant. I am unaware of any patch through. If your board is newer than v1. Unfortunately the otherwise excellent layout is marred by the placement of the CPU socket too close to the right edge of the board, making CPU removal difficult once everything is installed in a case.
Rakd see's the drive with success and the slurring sound issue is gone! It's now ended with a PCI based sound card instead which is fine. I run one on a P Coppermine and the other on a Celeron It was already on this board before I got it.
